Sociology: Lecture

What it means to be a man, woman or other. Sustainable communities. Rich and poor. Immigration. Citizens and refugees. Ageing. Christian and Muslim. Sexual orientation. Political upheaval. These divisions and issues – and countless more like them – are the domain of sociologists, political experts and policymakers who are exploring the dynamics of social relationships, social issues and the process of social change. This lecture will provide you with an insight into our degrees and majors in sociology. You’ll also learn about career opportunities and how as a highly skilled graduate, you’ll be able to contribute to cross-cultural policy development and to shape social intervention.
